After an extremely long flight and equally long immigration process, losing my phone and finding it again and the transit to Hamilton it was 21 hour day so I decided to make it a 23 hour day and stay up. The jet lag then caused me to wake up extremely early but I woke up to the beautiful Canadian summer - pushing 30 degrees it was a nice change to the wettest summer in Britain for a century. That's my house for the year on the left.
The first day was full of boring administration - organising banking and getting food for the week. The food is pricey and they don't sell alcohol is supermarkets... So we had to go to the LCBO where a bottle of rum was 25 dollars (17 Pounds) and a six pack of beer was 12 dollars but that didn't stop me (maybe it will in a few months). They sell milk in little plastic bags over here and put it in a jug that doesn't even fit into.
This is my avenue, it is unbelievably long and straight takes forever to walk to the end, I mean, you can't even see the end from this photo.
